Hi, I'm Craig Villarrubia. A few years ago a friend gifted me a lathe and put a woodturning tool in my hand. I immediately fell in love with woodturning. Since then, I spend a lot of time learning, immersing myself in it, and improving my craft. Along the way I've managed to create a full-time business out it too. This site is dedicated to sharing all that I've learned.
Woodturning can be an expensive hobby. And there have been many times where I wish I had more knowledge or advice on making purchase decisions. After many years testing and experimenting with different tools, gear, and accessories I’ve curated a selection of items that I’ve personal used and would recommend without hesitation.
In some cases, I do realize that price and skill level may be an important factors when deciding on which item to buy, so with each recommendation my aim is to make suggestions for all skill levels and price sensitivity. My objective to share the best products based on my own experience and use of the tools, gear, and accessories.
